We are Oren & Rinat Lok, classical pianists living in a tiny NYC Studio. Amazingly, we managed to get a piano in there.
Who Are We?
What Do We Do?
We perform our own original music for piano, extending the use of the instrument and exploring all kinds of new directions.
We love bizarre matches of styles, quotations, sentimental melodies, fugues, blues, sonata forms and experimenting with electronics. We don't love winter, or taking ourselves too seriously.
The inspiration for our music are artists like Beethoven, Debussy, Schumann and Thelonious Monk. Oren loves to dance when nobody's watching.
